Xi Jinping pointed out that Asia is an important birthplace of human civilization. It has bred and preserved extremely rich cultural heritage, and has written a rich and colorful chapter in the history of the development of world civilization. In 2019, at the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, I advocated the protection of Asian cultural heritage. Over the past four years, all parties have actively responded and worked together to carry out practical cooperation in ancient civilization research, joint archaeology, restoration of historic sites, and museum exchanges, making new contributions in Asia to protecting the essence of human civilization.
Xi Jinping emphasized that the establishment of the Asian Cultural Heritage Conservation Alliance is conducive to strengthening the protection of Asian cultural heritage, deepening exchanges among Asian civilizations, prospering the garden of world civilizations, and contributing to the progress of human civilization. Under the framework of the alliance, China is willing to join hands with Asian countries to strengthen experience exchanges in cultural heritage protection, actively promote international cooperation in the field of cultural heritage, build a global dialogue and cooperation network among civilizations, promote mutual understanding and friendship among peoples of all countries, and jointly promote the development and progress of human civilization.
The Asian Cultural Heritage Conservation Alliance Conference is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government. It opened on the 25th in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.
